About Saskia
Welcome to my profile! I am dedicated to supporting my clients in navigating life’s challenges and working towards greater fulfillment. I have had the privilege of working with diverse clients in various settings, including cancer support services, psychosomatic in-patient settings, and the National Health Service.
My therapy approaches are centred around Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I use mindfulness-based techniques and creative expression to strengthen how clients relate to their thoughts and feelings. My way of working is empathic, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I draw on evidence-based methods to provide a safe space in which you may explore your inner world.
In addition, I am an EMDR therapist in training. I am qualified to deliver EMDR therapy and currently completing the final stages of my full training. Please see our 'Types of Therapy' section to learn more about EMDR and to see if it may be a right fit for you.
I am originally from Germany and have earned two master's degrees in Health and Clinical Psychology from Stirling University and the University of Utrecht. Currently, I am in the final year of my doctoral training in Counselling Psychology.
Whether you are facing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or simply seeking personal development, I am here to support you on your path. I look forward to meeting you!
