Psychologist in Glasgow | Arabic Speaking Therapy

Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile.

I am a psychologist based in Glasgow with experience supporting adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, low self-esteem, stress, and relationship difficulties. I am currently completing my final year of Doctoral training in Counselling Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University, where I continue to develop advanced skills in evidence-based psychological therapies.

I provide a warm, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic space where clients can feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. I believe that therapy works best when it is tailored to your individual needs, experiences, and goals, allowing us to work together towards meaningful and lasting change.

My therapeutic approach integrates several evidence-based models, including Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed interventions such as Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET). This flexible approach enables me to support clients presenting with a range of difficulties, including:

  • Anxiety and excessive worry

  • Trauma and post-traumatic stress

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Depression and low mood

  • Stress and burnout

  • Emotional overwhelm

  • Self-esteem and confidence difficulties

  • Life transitions and adjustment challenges

  • Identity and cultural concerns

As a fluent Arabic speaker, I am able to offer therapy in both Arabic and English. I recognise the importance of cultural understanding within therapy and strive to provide a space that feels inclusive, respectful, and sensitive to each individual's background, values, and experiences.

Seeking support can feel daunting, particularly when you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about where to begin. Taking the first step towards therapy is often one of the most important acts of self-care, and I aim to make that process feel as safe and comfortable as possible.

Whether you are looking for support with anxiety, trauma recovery, OCD, depression, or simply wish to better understand yourself and your patterns, I offer a thoughtful and supportive environment to help you move towards greater wellbeing.

I invite you to book an initial consultation to explore your needs, ask any questions you may have, and determine whether we feel like a good fit to work together.
