About Sanika
Hello! Thank you for taking time out to read my profile.
I offer compassionate, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based psychological support for adults navigating the complexities of life. My focus is on creating a warm and non-judgemental space where you feel truly heard, understood, and supported.
With experience across diverse settings, including schools, universities, corporate environments, and charitable organisations, I bring a broad understanding of the varied challenges individuals face. My practice is rooted humanistic approaches with training in person-centred therapies and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), allowing me to tailor our work to your unique needs and goals.
As a South Asian therapist, I am deeply committed to fostering cultural sensitivity in my approach, appreciating the interplay of contextual, systemic and personal factors in shaping your experiences. I see therapy as a collaborative journey, where the therapeutic relationship itself becomes a powerful agent for change.
Currently completing the third stage of my doctoral training as a Counselling Psychologist, I have had the privilege of working with adolescents, adults, and older adults. My experience spans a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, addiction, life transitions, and chronic pain.

Together, we will explore your concerns and develop meaningful strategies to help you move forward with clarity. I look forward to supporting you in your journey!
