About Bradley

I am a trainee counselling psychologist whose therapeutic approach is grounded in humanistic and person-centred values, influenced by integrative and existential modalities. I believe that through a shared commitment to the therapeutic process, people can develop greater self-awareness, and grow through being understood by another. I am especially interested in philosophy and conversations at depth, questions about identity, meaning, freedom, and responsibility often shape how I think about therapy.

I have a strong background in high-intensity mental health work. Before beginning my doctoral training, I worked for five years in the NHS, supporting people in high-risk situations, including crisis, trauma, and complex mental health difficulties. During this time, alongside developing strong risk-management and clinical skills, I began to shape a more humanistic way of working that values authenticity, relationship, and the client’s own capacity for growth. I have since completed a COSCA counselling qualification and am currently in my second year of the Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University. I previously completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Glasgow.

I aim to help people feel understood, not judged, and safe enough to explore themselves at times when this may feel too difficult to do alone or with others in their lives. I am also increasingly drawn to somatic and body-based approaches, as I believe emotional experience lives not only in thoughts and stories but in the body as well. My work is guided by a whole-person perspective, attending to mind, emotion, and physical experience together. I aim to offer a warm, thoughtful, and collaborative space where clients feel able to reflect, explore, and move towards the changes that matter most to them.

I’m particularly interested in working with those who have experienced trauma, anxiety and depressive symptoms given my previous roles but I have and would be happy to work with a variety of other difficulties.

I look forward to meeting you!
